The MRT pouches are named after the Manning River Turtle whose population is regarded as being very vulnerable. The Manning is also my home river so it has personal significance.
The MRT pouches are perfect for keeping organised and giving your gear extra protection from the elements. They are lightweight and pack down small when not full of gear.
Made from the same silicone coated polyester we use for our tarps which makes the pouches water resistant. The Auscam fabric is a PU coated nylon and is slightly heavier. We use YKK coil zippers which are triple stitched for durability. The pouches come with a tab at each end and the two larger sizes come with an additional lightweight grab handle for a more durable carry of heavier loads.
There are four sizes available but custom sizing is available:
Small - Perfect for a small first aid kit.
Medium - Can be used for your compact cook kit
Large - Commonly used for food or clothing
Extra Large - Commonly used for food or clothing
Available Colours: Deep Purple; Moroccan Blue; Dark Olive (Limited); Poppy Red; Forest Green
#3 for lightweight and smaller pack size
#5 for added durability.
Made in Tasmania.
*Where possible we use offcuts from our tarps to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill.
