Deep VS. Shallow cooking pots

Shallow/wide pots

The original shallow shape pots from Evernew have a wider bottom surface which makes them more efficient to absorb heat when you are using moderate to high heat. When using high heat the “Flame disk” can be too big for some pots and you lose heat from the side of your pots. The wider bottom surface can efficiently absorb the heat from the bottom, so you can save some fuel.

DEEP POTS

Deep pots are great to store a gas canister stove or fuel bottle. Titanium pots are durable enough to keep fragile items inside to keep them from being damaged in your pack. The compact nature of the deep shaped pots is also a positive for some who find them easier to squeeze into their backpacks.
