Ultralight Down Quilts, Hammocks and Tarps
Simon·16 July 2015 - 05:53pmHi Steve - I am still finalising fabrics and hardware inclusions but I am aiming for under $200.
steve·16 July 2015 - 11:00amHi mate.
How much do you think you will sell this for when it is done..
Simon·27 June 2015 - 01:30pmG'day Ross - I did contemplate a separate net with a fabric base, and actually spoke with Fronkey himself about it some time back. To be honest once this new hammock is up and running I am not sure if I will be offering a separate net or not, and The Cradle hammock will be re-configured and re-named.
I will probably look at a top cover for this new hammock, perhaps similar in style to the Aussie dome swag tops with solid cover, and mesh cover underneath.
Hey Trevor - thanks mate. I am loving the new design myself. It's a pleasure to build.
Ross Jamieson·26 June 2015 - 10:42pmI have recently become a tree dweller and found I no longer suffer from back pain in the morning. Only things that wake me are the call of nature and cold feet. I have not been able to stay warm and the cold and misty winter nights leave my gear damp. I like the Fronkey style net, but was wondering whether you had thought of building one with a wind/water resistant base with bug net near the ridge line (to reduce condensation)? It would be like a light weight hammock tent under a small tarp. What do you think?
By the way, love the Peregrine I ordered earlier this year. Regards, Ross.
Trevor Elliot·26 June 2015 - 02:59pmHey mate, it looks fantastic.
