The Tarpworm is beyond light. It not only is a simple way to tie out your tarp, it also has a built in tarp tensioner. Just simply stake out your tarp and then pull the cord and loop it around the tail. When you want to release it, simply pull the cord and it releases your tie-out. They are sold attached with a loop of 2mm shock cord. They can also have 1.75mm Dyneema Mallee Wire spliced with a loop on the end for a nice clean look.
Weighs less than 1 gram (4 grams with Mallee Wire).

The Silkworm is the same as above only they are adapted so you can sew them on. The slot fits 1/2 inch grosgrain snugly. These are great for Cuben Fiber or Polyester tarps where tarp tensioners are not that important. You have the option of getting them with or without 1.8metres foot of our Mallee Wire (1.75mm Dyneema). The Mallee Wire will have a loop on one end and bury on the other end so they can't be removed from the worm.

Each are made from Aluminum and are meant for tie outs and not ridgeline.
